List your car and earn every week

Cars for taxi work rent in Poland for 450–800 zł a week. One car can bring in over 30,000 zł a year* — instead of sitting in a car park generating costs.

  • 5% commission for the first 3 months, then 10%

What kind of car is it?

These are two different businesses. Pick yours and the calculator below switches to it.

An everyday car

Corolla, Octavia, Passat

650 zł a week

Rented by the week and the month, most often to taxi drivers. Almost no idle time: the car leaves and comes back a month later.

What it costs you: 4,000–6,000 km a month and wear at twice the usual rate.

Premium

BMW M5, RS6, Cayenne

1,200 zł a day

Rented by the day, for weekends and events. Several times the rate, but booked 8–12 days a month rather than 30.

What it costs you: a 10,000–20,000 zł deposit, expensive cover, and any repair costing what a week of the rental earns.

A market that needs your car

112 m

rides a year are completed through taxi apps in Poland**

~19 m

passengers use app-based rides**

4.7 bn zł

projected value of the app-ride market**

80%

of app drivers work through a fleet partner — that is, in a rented or provided car**

Drivers keep arriving — cars to work in are still short. Your car can work for you.

A car that sits still costs money anyway

Your car is idle? That is not free.

Running a car in Poland typically costs 700–1500 zł a month: insurance, the annual test (149 zł), servicing, tyres, parking — and on top of that a car loses 40–50% of its value in the first 3 years whether it is driven or not.

At the same time thousands of Uber, Bolt and FreeNow drivers are looking for roadworthy cars — hybrids for preference — to work in. The best of them take over 12,000 zł a month and pay for the car every week.**

ViroCars connects the two: you list the car, the driver pays weekly rent.

How much can you earn?

Number of cars

a year ·

You set the weekly price, the deposit and the minimum rental period. The market standard: a deposit equal to one week, rentals from a few weeks upward.

Why are taxi rates higher than an ordinary rental? Because they cover the more expensive taxi insurance and heavy use — build those costs into your weekly price.

Work it out for your car — list it free

How it works

  1. 1

Add your car in 10 minutes.

Photos, weekly price, deposit, minimum period, conditions. Listing costs nothing.

  2. 2

    Take enquiries.

The driver leaves a name and phone number. You call, write, or confirm the booking in the dashboard. Notifications arrive at once — on Telegram too.

  3. 3

    Earn every week.

Weekly rent, one-click extensions, and a return checklist with mileage and photos.

You are protected

Security deposit — you set the amount yourself; it covers fines, damage and arrears.

Rental agreement and clear terms — the terms (rate, km limit, notice period) are visible in the listing and marked "Terms verified".

Verified drivers — profile, phone, documents. You can see who you are renting to, and their rental history.

Return checklist — at the end of the rental: condition, mileage, photos and a driver rating. In a dispute you have evidence, and we help settle it.

Honestly: insurance stays on your side. A car working in taxi service needs a policy endorsed for the commercial carriage of passengers — typically from about 1,500 zł (third-party only) up to 15,000 zł a year (a full comprehensive package in a large city)**. Build that into the weekly rate — the dashboard will remind you when policies fall due.

How ViroCars helps owners

Fleet dashboard

a rental and enquiry calendar, a "Service and documents" section (insurance and inspection reminders, service history, income and costs per car).

Demand

a catalogue for drivers plus the Vtaxi.pl community (Telegram, TikTok, YouTube), where drivers look for cars to work in.

Simple rules

5% for the first three months, then 10% — and only when the money goes through the platform. We cover the Stripe fee; listing and the dashboard are free.

Who it is for

One private car?

Turn a cost into income — list it for the weeks you do not need it.

Running a fleet?

Manage many cars in one dashboard: enquiries, calendar, servicing, documents. Manager accounts with limited access are coming.

Frequently asked questions

Is my car suitable?

Economical hybrids and sound city cars with valid insurance and a current inspection do best. List the car — we will review the listing and tell you what to improve.

What will I actually earn?

Typical taxi-rental rates in Poland are 450–800 zł a week, depending on the city, the model and the condition of the car**. You set the price yourself and see enquiries before you confirm anything.

Is it safe for the car?

A deposit, an agreement, a verified driver, a km limit in the terms, and a return checklist with photos and mileage. In a dispute the ViroCars team steps in.

Who pays for fuel and servicing?

Fuel — the driver. You define the servicing scope in the rental terms; the dashboard reminds you about insurance, inspection and oil changes.

What insurance does a taxi car need?

A policy endorsed for the commercial carriage of passengers — this applies to work in Uber, Bolt and FreeNow as well. Third-party taxi cover alone is usually 1,500–3,000 zł a year (two to three times a private policy), and a full comprehensive package in a large city can reach tens of thousands. You build that cost into the weekly rental price.

Do I need a company?

Not to list a car. Bear in mind only that rental income has to be declared — discuss the form (private rental or a business) with an accountant.

What if the car is on lease or finance?

Check with the leasing company or bank whether onward rental is allowed — some agreements require it. This is standard practice; it is worth asking outright.

What does listing cost?

0 zł. We take no commission on rentals at launch.

Your car could be earning as soon as next week.

* Example calculation: 650 zł/week × 48 rented weeks = 31,200 zł of revenue per car — before running costs, taxi insurance (usually from about 1,500 zł for third-party up to 15,000 zł a year for a comprehensive package) and tax. Actual rates (450–800 zł/week) and occupancy depend on the city, the model and the condition of the car. ViroCars does not guarantee any income.
