Renting a Porsche Panamera in Poland costs 800–1,500 zł a day and 14,000–22,000 zł a month, with a deposit of 5,000–12,000 zł. The hybrid covers 50–80 km on electricity and only makes sense on a longer hire where there is somewhere to charge. Without charging it drinks more than the ordinary V6.
The Panamera is a saloon that behaves like an ordinary large car most of the time, and spends the rest reminding you that the same company builds the 911. That sounds like a virtue and usually is — except in one situation worth settling before you book.

The hybrid is a decision, not an option
The E-Hybrid versions cover 50–80 km on electricity alone. On a monthly hire with a charger in the garage that is a city driven almost for free, and the hybrid beats every other version outright.
Without charging it inverts. The car carries several hundred kilograms of battery it never uses and drinks more than the ordinary V6. For a weekend with no socket in reach, the hybrid is the worst choice in the range.
So the question to ask the rental firm is not "is there a hybrid" but "do I get the cable, and where am I charging it".
What a Panamera is not
It is not a limousine. The back is lower and tighter than an S-Class or an A8, and the roof falls away — a passenger over 190 cm will feel it. Anyone renting to carry clients should sit in the back themselves before signing for a month.
Up front, though, it is one of the better interiors in the class, and it steers noticeably more sharply than any German saloon of the same size.
What to watch in the contract
- The mileage cap: 200–300 km a day, 2,000–3,000 km a month, then 1.50–3 zł per kilometre.
- Air suspension: inspected on return, and one replacement airbag costs what several days of the hire do.
- Twenty-one inch wheels on most examples — a kerb is 1,500–3,000 zł.
- Driver age: in this class usually 28–30 minimum with five years of licence.
